Who's Who

The Organising Team for both the Fells Marathon and Wolds Challenge. 

Meet the team that make it all happen...

The Fells team have miles of hikes and years of experience under their belts and want to make sure you have loads of fun while competing.

They are a sub-team of the Blacktoft Beacon District Programme Team, who are dedicated to running both the Fells Marathon and Wolds Challenge.

Members of the Team include:

  • Route Planning and Map Controller
  • Overnight Site Team
  • Checkpoint Manager
  • Sweep Teams
  • Kit Check Controller
  • 4 x 4 Response Teams
  • Hill Response Teams
  • First Aider
  • Support Bus
  • Centre Manager

Which specific members of the Team are taking on which roles can slightly vary year on year, so you can find out who is taking on each role for each event, at the bottom of the Risk Assessment for that event. 

 

    The Wolds Challenge and The Fells Marathon are organised and run by Blacktoft Beacon District Scout Council.
